Flanagan Lawrence is an award-winning architectural practice in West London.
We were approached to review their current website and come up with ideas for how to make it better. We suggested two routes: improve legibility and functionality or a complete redesign. They went with a brand new site.
Weaving the practice’s design-led ethos into the new site, we created a cinematic image-led website with clear and minimal navigation, letting the images do the talking. The site’s black background echoes the colour’s use across the practice’s marketing collateral, tying it all together.
There are many ways to view projects – by image or by detail, by list or by visual grid – but always with the image at the core. The viewing point of of each image on the homepage can be adjusted to control cropping on various devices – essential for an image-led site.
